MME: Asset Manager Wholesalers Increase Outreach to RIAs

"Registered investment advisors can present a major opportunity for asset managers to enhance their marketing and distribution strategies, but successfully penetrating this market also presents some challenges," according to a recent story in Money Management Executive.
Gaining access to top advisors is still the biggest challenge. As a result, fund firm wholesalers have increased their number of annual advisor visits and monthly calls, among other things.

The magazine turned to industry thought leaders such as SEI's Jonathan Dale, Huntington's Paula Jurcenko, Cogent's John Munier and me for additional insight on what firms are doing to work with RIAs.
