In 2009, independent financial advisors enjoyed an impressive recovery in their business. To help chronicle that success, Financial Advisor magazine will publish its fifth annual ranking of independent advisory firms in the July 2010 issue. The last four annual surveys were very well received, with nearly 500 RIA firms participating. To be eligible for the rankings, your firm or top advisory firms must be registered investment advisors and provide financial planning and related services to individual clients. We encourage all firms who meet those criteria to participate. Please note that the deadline for survey submissions is Thursday, April 30, 2010.
Firms must have at least $75 million in assets under management to be included in the rankings that will be published in the July 2010 issue. Firms with less than $75 million in assets will be included in the ranking on the Web site, http://www.fa-mag.com/.
The rankings are sure to attract widespread attention within and beyond the financial advisory industry. Make sure your firm or your advisor firms have its place in the listings.
