Guess who made the pages of People magazine?

Daisy Latimer, the daughter of Daisy Maxey, the mutual fund and investments writer with Dow Jones Newswires and contributor to The Wall Street Journal, made the pages of the entertainment rag in the November 21 edition.

"The two of us ran a race in April that ended in Central Park." says Maxey. "We went to the Revlon tent where they did a quick makeup touch-up, photographed her, and chose her as one of the women to feature in an ad."

"She's quite a beauty and smart too." says Maxey. Her daughter graduated from Cornell University where she ran track and Cross Country.

As for the journalist, she just had knee surgery in March with a ripped meniscus. "So for us," says Maxey, "the Revlon walk/run with my daughter was helpful for post-surgery-healing support."

And for her daughter being discovered, "She and her boyfriend are hearing from all her friends about it."
