MFWire.com, one of the big trade pubs for our industry, needs your help. The Wire is developing its list for the mutual fund industry's top influencers which will be published during the week of July 4.
The Wire says "Influence can flow from the financial resources to buy a competitor or create and market a new product. It can stem from a new idea that is -- or will be -- widely adopted or authoring a piece of legislation that changes the industry. It can also be as simple as holding the respect of one's peers so one's ideas can be widely spread and acted upon."
Names on the ballet so far include, among others, Avi Nachmani, Harold Evansky, Don Phillips, and Ned Johnson. The Wire wants you to vote for this year's "Top Influencer" or you can nominate one of your colleagues.
