Getting clients involved with Social Media can be a
challenge—they might not be comfortable with having an online persona, it
requires an extra time commitment each day, and learning what content is
appropriate on each platform can seem like learning a new language. Of the
major social media channels, though, LinkedIn often seems like the most
accessible route for advisors. The platform’s business slant and dedication to
career and industry-driven conversations makes it much more approachable than
the hashtags and likes of Facebook and Twitter.
LinkedIn, though, is much more than a virtual resume and in order to
find success, advisors need to update their content and nurture connections
regularly. Caitlin Zucal recently gave a rundown of the three keys to LinkedIn
success on The DigitalFA. If you missed the article, be sure to read it here—Caitlin
has great tips that even the LinkedIn experts among us could probably use
reminding of.
